Employee Manual

The employee manual actually consists of two manuals. The first is for every employee that contains all office policies, organization structure, benefits, rules and regulations etc. The second is a procedure manual for each position. Each employee job category should have a book on how to accomplish the goals for that position. This reference will help train new employees, and will remind employees how to effectively execute their job. This can be utilized in evaluations, providing a clear definition of expectations. One or more employees in each position should be in charge of creating and updating the procedure manual, and should be regularly reviewed by management to make sure it is up to date and organized.
